Lunch at

If you’ve mulled over the breakfast menu, chances are you’ll be getting the idea that we don’t have a traditional approach to the way we display our dishes - at Penny’s ‘quirky is good’.

Every day we prepare the finest vegetarian dishes and make them available on an assisted self-service basis.
Quiche, for instance, is a good example.

First up: the cheese – not common or garden cheddar; no, it has to be real vegetarian cheese and, of course, free-range eggs and a drop or two of fresh organic milk. We wrap this mixture around tomatoes off a vine and leafy basil; or spring onions perhaps; or mixed peppers; or oyster mushrooms; or spinach; or water cress; or even peanuts for a change. We then restrain the whole melange in a light, crumbly pastry base and bake for as long as it takes.

By nestling our quiches amongst bowls of fresh salads, and perhaps some penne tossed in chilli or nut cutlets, as well as mouth-watering desserts, means that you get to choose - with our help - a plate of wholesome goodness. And then it’s just a minor matter of payment.

What a refreshingly relaxed and rewarding approach to eating out.
